Monroe's Main Street area boasts a wide range of shopping and services. From boutiques and gift shops to specialty foods, restaurants, and antiques, you will find what you are looking for on our Courthouse Square.

 

West Side offers the convenience of stores such as Wal-Mart, cheese factories with tours, like Alp & Dell, handy fast-food restaurants -Culver's and Dairy Queen, and Brennan's Farm Market offering fresh fruits, cheeses and local brews.

 

For fun Monroe has the downtown Goetz Theatre with Sky-Vu Drive-in on the south side. Honey Creek Skate Park, SLICE Ice Arena, the Roller Den, Green County YMCA, Monroe Park and Recreation and countless trails and parks in Monroe promote fun physical fitness. Green County Welcome Center/Historic Cheese Making Museum, Green County Historic Museum, and Monroe Arts Center offer unique, educational and entertaining displays.
