MEET FABIO GRADO
Meet Fabio Grado
Hi my name is Fabio Grado, I was born and raised in Italy up the age of 18. I served in the Italian Army as a chef for the ranking officials in my battalion. I met my wife Maria at the age of 17 and we married 8 years later. We now have 3 beautiful girls, Rosangela, Marilena, and Arianna, that complete our family. Growing up, I worked at my grandparents restaurant, where they not only passed on the tradition and passion of culinary arts, but also the importance of a strong work ethic. I have been in the restaurant business since I was 6 years old and my best teachers were my Grandpa, Grandma, and my Mother.
I graduated with a degree in electronics engineering. I moved to the United States in 1995. I fell in love with this country and have been here ever since. I started working with my father-in-law who owns a restaurant in Beloit. After a couple of years I told my farther-in-law that I was looking for a nice town where I can open my own restaurant. After two years of searching for a nice community for my family and the business I finally landed in Monroe. To me it was love at first sight. I opened Vince's Pizza in 1999 with pick-up, delivery, and catering services. My business kept growing, and In 2009, I built a new location, this time adding a dining room. I'm very excited about my professional life and my community here in Monroe.
The keys to the success of my business begin with the quality of the product, the friendliness of my staff, and the passion we have for a great dining experience. We always have something new and exciting happening at Vince's. I am a strong believer in guarantees. My motto is "If you are not happy with our products or service, it is absolutely free." Another positive factor of my business is working with local businesses. You can do this in a number of ways, from buying local products, to working with other organizations for the betterment of the community.
I was very excited when I was invited to be a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce and to bring my unique point of view. I am very happy to work with an amazing group of talented individuals whose leadership continues to drive Monroe forward. I thank all of you for being members of the Chamber. Please feel free to contact me with anything I can do for you to help your business grow, because in economic times such as these, we should come together to create a stronger community for all of us.
